Mariane Colas, who signed under the pseudonym of Mario Pyco, was born in 1947. Parisian, she lives and exposes in her studio at the foot of the Eiffel Tower. A graduate of a MA in Art History at the Sorbonne, she enrolled student studying in the school of Fine Arts in Paris. In 1991, her life takes on new meaning. Following a road accident, MARIO PYCO is dipped in a coma. When she awoke, in addition to his family, painting becomes a real reason to live.

“I always needed to cast my feelings on a white canvas. Since the release of the coma, I am happy to fulfil myself by painting and find a new way to participate in the LIFE”
